A proud moment for Buymedia today as we joined an exclusive roundtable at the UK-Ireland Summit in Liverpool, alongside Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Taoiseach Micheal Martin.
Our CEO, Fergal O’Connor, took part in high-level discussions on technology, AI, innovation, energy, and security, alongside a select group of industry leaders at the forefront of driving innovation and economic growth across the UK and Ireland.
The summit comes at a pivotal time for Buymedia as we set our sights on significant growth across the UK market. With AI and technology transforming industries at an unprecedented pace, we are committed to empowering businesses with AI-powered media investment technology, ensuring they can make smarter, more efficient, and impactful advertising decisions.
Fergal O’Connor, CEO of Buymedia, said: “It was a pleasure to attend the first UK-Ireland summit this morning. What came across from both leaders was a genuine willingness to listen and learn. It was refreshing to hear authentic commitments from both the Prime Minister and Taoiseach to harmonise regulation and to encourage trade and growth between UK and Ireland. Buymedia is on a mission to democratise advertising by giving businesses of all sizes the tools to make smarter media investments. Expanding into the UK allows us to bring our AI-powered platform to businesses looking to unlock new growth opportunities in an ever-evolving media landscape."
Our expansion aligns with the UK Government’s commitment to fostering economic growth through technology and innovation. The summit showcased the strength of UK-Ireland business ties, with £185.5 million in Irish-led investments demonstrating the strong opportunities for collaboration and innovation across both markets.
Thanks to Shirley McCay and Martin Pathan for the kind invitation and for organising a great event, and to Enterprise Ireland for their continued support in driving Irish innovation on the global stage. We look forward to playing a key role in this next chapter of UK-Ireland business growth.
